It’s believed to be home to more of these unique wells than any other place on Earth, with an impressive count of thirty-six out of Harrogate’s approximately one hundred mineral wells residing within the garden’s embrace, each one distinct from the others.
Valley Gardens is a place of perpetual transformation and rejuvenation, where the past and the present harmoniously coexist, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a unique blend of nature, history, and horticultural excellence.. The gardens are continually being restored and regenerated with major works spearheaded by Friends of Valley Gardens, working with North Yorkshire Council who own and manage the gardens.

The Sun Pavilion at the northern edge of the park can be privately hired for weddings. Tennis courts and a bowling green are in the west of the park.
