Welcome to the Harrogate Coin Fair website at the Old Swan Hotel Friday 4th and Saturday 5th April 2025

We are excited to announce that Dave the Moneyer will at the fair this year, visit his stand and learn all about how coins are made, even have a go at making your own hand struck coin with our specially designed dies!

Held in springtime in the Jewel of Yorkshire the Harrogate Coin Fair is a fantastic place to buy coins, talk coins & get advice/valuations relating to collecting & investing in coins, medallions, tokens, artefacts & banknotes. With 40+ of the countries’ top dealers present, there will be the opportunity to buy or sell all types of numismatic related material.

You will find specialists in Bank Notes, Artefacts and Coins from the following periods; Iron Age/Celtic, Roman, Anglo Saxon, Norman Medieval, Milled & Sovereigns, whether it be a Charles I Triple Unite or AE3 of Constantine, the Harrogate Coin Fair has it all. Harrogate is a wonderful place to visit especially in Spring when all the daffodils are emerging and there is a wonderful sense of excitement for the year ahead in the air. The Harrogate Coin fair started in 1991 and is now run by John & Sophie Philpotts who have many years of experience running and attending similar events nationally & internationally. Entry & Table Bookings

General entry is from 10 am to 4 pm on Friday & 9.30 am-2 pm on Saturday at a cost of £2. On Saturday due to the long distances travelled by our table holders, we would advise you to aim to arrive in the morning so that you have time to see all the tables. If you wish to book a table then you must contact us well before the event, there may well be a waiting list so we cannot guarantee you a space. Tables cost £250 per 6ft, £430 for 12ft.
