This October, come and enjoy a fantastic day out at our pumpkin picking farm in Yorkshire — the perfect autumn experience for families, friends, and pumpkin lovers of all ages!
With over 53 varieties of pumpkins and squashes, there truly is a perfect pumpkin for everyone — from mini pumpkins that fit in your hand to giant ones that fill a wheelbarrow! Choose from orange, white, pink, blue, knobbly, stripey, and even leopard print pumpkins — each one grown with care right here on our family-run farm.
A True Family Farm Experience
We’ve been farming here for three generations, and farmers Rob and David will be in the field ready to answer all your pumpkin-growing questions. They can help you find the best pumpkin whether you want to carve it, decorate it, or cook it!

Grown Here on Our Family Farm
We’re proud to be a true pumpkin picking farm, growing all our pumpkins here between Thirsk and Boroughbridge.
Every year, David and Rob plant and care for the pumpkins, while Caroline bakes all our delicious cakes and makes our famous pumpkin soup. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by Jen — she’ll make sure your day runs smoothly from start to finish!

Do I pay admission if I just want to pick a pumpkin from the patch?
We don’t charge an admission to the pumpkin patch, you just pay for what you pick.
If you wish to visit the farm animals, activities, maize maze and carving barn this is charged at £5.95 per person. Under 2s are free
If I pay admission to the farm what’s included?
Super cute farm animals including piglets, goats, ponies, donkeys, guinea pigs, sheep and pigs. We have a 6 acre maize maze with a quiz to compete as you weave your way through the maze. 2 bouncy castles, go karts, outdoor sandpit, swings, toy tractors. Pumpkin carving barn – Feed any left over pumpkin insides to the pigs. Woodland walk. Giant bale mountain.
Can I bring my dog?
We don’t allow dogs in the pumpkin patch or farm yard however they are welcome in the garden area in front of the cafe
Is there a cafe on site?
Yes, we have a cafe serving take out food, drinks and ice creams
What should I wear ?
Please dress for the outdoors and the weather! The pumpkins are in a field where they grew so this can get muddy in wet weather.
Do I need to book?
No you don’t need to book you can just turn up, we are open 7 days a week 10am-4pm. Weekends are usually busier than mid week.
Do you charge to hire a wheel barrow?
No you can use the wheel barrows free of charge, please respect them and put them back in the narrow park for someone else to use once you are finished.
If I pay the admission to the farm and carving barn do I need to bring my own carving tools?
No once you have payed to visit the farm/carving barn we provide all the tools you’ll need to carve your pumpkins.
How much do pumpkins cost?
You just pay for what you pick – they range from £1 – £12 for the whoppers!
Do you take card?
Yes every pay point on site takes card payments.
Do you have toilet facilities?
Yes, we have 3 toilets near the cafe including baby changing and a disabled toilet facility.
In the farm/ activity area we have a portable toilet as well .

I would only like to visit the animals , maize maze and use the play equipment how much does this cost?
Admission to the farm, maize maze and activities is £5.95 per person, under 2s are free.

Yes, we have lots of new and exciting photo opportunities this year in both the patch and the farm area.
