This February Half-Term holiday, take your family on a new adventure and create memories that will last a lifetime with Days Out by the Harrogate Bus Company.

Whether you’re looking for somewhere for the kids to burn off energy or if you’re looking for something to take them out of their comfort zone, there’s so much to see and do during the school holidays on our bus routes.

And with Group tickets costing £16 for one day’s unlimited travel for up to five people, you’ll have plenty of spare change to enjoy what’s out there, this February Half-Term!

Harewood House

One of the Treasure Houses of England, this incredible 18th-century historical residence and surrounding gardens cover around 140 acres of stunning Yorkshire countryside.

And this February Half-Term, the Harewood House Trust are transforming this must-visit attraction into an interactive play space – perfect for families looking for something special!

Our luxurious 36 bus is your route to this famous house, with buses every 10 minutes throughout the day from Leeds and Harrogate.

Hydro Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre

Swimming is the perfect way to burn off extra energy, so this February Half-Term, why not spend a morning or afternoon enjoying the water at Harrogate’s Hydro Leisure and Wellness Centre?

The hub offers access to a 25-metre, eight-lane swimming pool, as well as state-of-the-art gym facilities, a steam room and sauna – meaning you can relax or work out at your own pace.

Grab your goggles because Hydro Harrogate is served by many of our routes, including the 36 from Leeds, Harrogate and Ripon, and 24 from Pateley Bridge.

Stockeld Park

Stockeld Park is the ultimate family adventure – spread across over 40 acres, there’s the Enchanted Forest and its outdoor playgrounds, the Woodland Canopy and its accessible pathways, and the incredible 20,000 square foot indoor adventure playground, aka The Playhive.

And this February Half-Term Holiday, there’s a daily ‘Heroes vs Villains’ sing-off at the Stockeld Theatre, and even a covered ice rink for the whole family to enjoy.

The adventure park is only a short distance away from the town centre, with the 7 taking you right to the entrance, going from Leeds, Wetherby and Harrogate.

Harrogate Climbing Centre

Fancy something a bit more physical – check out Live For Today’s Harrogate Climbing Centre, which offers bouldering, rope climbing, and abseiling in its fabulous indoor arena.

If you’re a beginner or accompanying children, bouldering is the perfect introduction to climbing. Involving short, dynamic climbs over a padded mat, it’s a great way to develop coordination, strength and confidence!

You can travel to the Harrogate Climbing Centre on our 36 bus, or on the A2 FLYER – simply hop off at Oatlands Corner, and it’s a short walk to the main entrance.

RHS Garden Harlow Carr

Explore the magical landscape of RHS Garden Harlow Carr, which combines garden inspiration with outdoor discovery, and features beautiful wildflower meadows, woodlands, and streamside flower beds.

This February Half-Term, RHS Garden Harlow Carr is running a special ‘The Wind in the Willows’ event – join Mr Toad, Ratty, Mole and Badger on this interactive garden trail, for storytime and activities based on the classic children’s book.

You can visit this stunning location on the 6, which drops you off at Harlow Grange, just a short walk away from the gardens’ entrance – and you can get 30% off admission when you show your ticket.

You can also track your bus and buy mobile tickets on our Transdev Go app.
