High quality customer service is at the fore of everything we do, so if it’s a gift for your friends and loved ones or something to go with that special meal we have the knowledge and experience to advise you accordingly. Our careful selection process means that the range we have continues to evolve and we are constantly looking at developing our portfolio. Because of our own passion for wine we simply won’t stock a bottle unless we are completely happy with it. As a proud independent we have an advantageous position in that we can source very small and rare parcels of wine – something which the larger retailers simply can’t do.

We also have a dedicated ‘Tasting Room’ in which we hold regular wine tastings and events. We are open on a Friday and Saturday 3pm until 8pm and you can drop in for a glass of wine or buy a bottle from downstairs. We also do a selection of cured meats, pâté and cheeses.

Our award-winning South African range stretches to over 100 different wines but we also have a passion for the old world and you’ll discover some genuinely spectacular bottles from Bordeaux, Burgundy and beyond.

We sometimes have winemakers on hand to tell us more about what’s on show and to date have held events featuring such luminaries as Ata Rangi and Escarpment of New Zealand, Niepoort of Portugal, Crystallum of South Africa and Georges Lignier of Burgundy.
