Harrogate Private GP Ltd (HPGP) has been established by experienced, local GPs who are passionate about delivering high-quality, safe, holistic care in general practice. Between us, we, Dr Ben Shacklock and Dr Tim Rider, have more than 35 years experience working as NHS GPs in Harrogate.
The landscape of healthcare provision within the NHS is ever-changing and we know that there are many barriers to continuity of care within NHS general practice that have arisen from long term lack of investment into UK general practice. We absolutely share the wishes of patients who wish for time and continuity of care from a familiar, trusted GP.
Harrogate Private GP was born from this desire to offer quality time and continuity of care from experienced GPs.
Harrogate Private GP can currently offer you a home visit to review a new condition or consider your holistic care. We will work with you, taking time to understand your current health and well-being as well as your goals for your health. We will involve you and your family/carers, where appropriate, to agree on the best plan for you. We are able to offer investigations such as blood tests or radiology investigations where needed.
We also know that good communication is vital with your NHS GP, and we routinely share information with them to ensure safe, ongoing, holistic care.
