Main Ring Attraction Announced for Great Yorkshire Show 2026

Motorbike stunt riding team The Bolddog FMX is set to take centre stage as the Main Ring attraction at the Great Yorkshire Show (Tuesday 14 – Friday 17 July 2026).

Managed by one of Europe’s top freestyle motocross riders, Dan Whitby, the team uses one of the largest, most sophisticated FMX landing ramps ever seen anywhere in the world. Riders will use the ramp to perform tricks flying 35ft in the air when they take to the Main Ring once a day, for all four days. The team last appeared at the Show in 2019.

Great Yorkshire Show Announces 2026 Dates Following Record-Breaking Year

The 167th Great Yorkshire Show will take place from 14 to 17 July 2026, following a record-breaking event in 2025 which attracted 140,000 visitors over four days.

The 2025 show was a sell-out success, celebrating the very best of British agriculture and rural life. More than 8,500 animals were exhibited in pursuit of coveted rosettes, while innovation and the next generation of farming were showcased in an expanded Innovation Zone and at the Future Farmers of Yorkshire Breakfast Meeting on the GYS Stage.

Highlights of the week included a wedding, five national breed championships, and the popular Britain’s Fittest Farmer competition.

The show also welcomed a number of high-profile visitors, including politicians and well-known television personalities such as Helen Skelton, Matt Baker, Peter Wright from The Yorkshire Vet, and Rob and Dave Nicholson of Cannon Hall Farm.

Tickets for the 2026 event will go on sale in November 2025, with further details to be announced on the show’s website in January 2026.

Organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, the Great Yorkshire Show supports the charity’s mission to create a thriving future for farming, food, and the countryside across the region.
